CAN YOU REDEFINE INTERIOR SPACES TO CREATE NEW DESIGN NARRATIVES?
你是否能夠透過重新定義室內設計來創造嶄新的空間故事？

不管是forward-thinking也好、或是moving-forward，談到要向未來邁進，所謂的前瞻性思考或是向前看就常會被我們掛在嘴邊；然而，對室內設計而言，那個forward指的是什麼？又會帶領居住者往哪裡去？

2018年的命題「敬未來！」（FORWARD: Challenging Design Boundaries），意圖讓所有年輕設計師們挑戰自己「向前」去重新思考、並檢視設計的基本面，跳脫出舒適圈的同時創造出與環境更有意義連結的作品。

在您的設計提案中，如何讓空間兼具功能、情感、永續和美學？對您而言，打破邊界的定義為何？您如何為人們創造全面體驗的同時，亦保有強烈的新穎和原創性呢？Let’s move forward, think forward!

您的作品須考慮以下：

1. Conceptualisation: 透過有效的設計理念與溝通，找到關鍵性的解決方案
2. Critical Analysis: 尋求策略性的手法來解決當前的問題
3. Innovation: 跳脫框架思考，挖掘全新的可能
4. Design Sensitivity: 展現設計善解人意、體貼的那一面
5. Sustainability: 採用可持續設計，讓設計與環境和諧共存
6. Place-Making: 了解使用者與社會文化之間的互動
7. Forward-Thinking: 勇於挑戰傳統

DESIGN CONCEPT STATEMENT& ORAL PRESENTATION

第一步必須清晰精彩，您在提案裱版所寫下的設計概念是初審的關鍵。

Your write-up will be the first component on the presentation board to be reviewed by our judges. It should narrate the key pointers to your design proposal and create a good first impression.

綠能環保，以及可持續發展的設計概念（15%）
GREEN & SUSTAINABLE DESIGN CONCEPT

氣候、能源與水資源 CLIMATE, ENERGY & WATER

展現能源優化，減少資源浪費，增加能源使用效率與利用可再生能源。
Demonstrate optimisation of the usage of energy and other resources in order to reduce load, increase efficiency, and utilise renewable energy resources.

建材與環保性 BUILDING MATERIAL & ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT

展現使用環保材質，以及減碳工程技術，漸少對環境的汙染；可幫助減少對健康的負面影響，建立一個更安全的工作環境。
Demonstrate the use of eco-friendly materials and construction techniques aimed at reducing environmental pollution. These will help prevent negative health effects and create safer working environments.

室內環境品質 INDOOR ENVIRONMENT QUALITY (IEQ)

建構良好的室內環境品質，促進居住者的健康性、舒適度，以及生產效率。一個可持續發展的建築，要盡可能地有自然的通風與採光，並在符合建築類型的條件下成型。
The IEQ of a building has a great impact on its occupants' health, comfort, and productivity. A sustainable building will maximise the use of natural lighting and ventilation, as much as the building typology and other site-specific conditions allow.

實踐綠能創新 GREEN INNOVATION PRACTICE

您的設計必須同時運用被動式（通常是低科技的）與主動式（通常是高科技的）設計策略，並結合環保建材，以及不需經常費時耗力保養的系統，採用較少的化學物質，使之成為更節能、更經濟與更長壽的建築。
The design should include, where appropriate, both passive design strategies (usually low-tech) as well as active systems (usually high-tech) and incorporate eco-friendly materials and systems that require less maintenance, less resources, fewer chemicals, and are cost-effective throughout the lifespan of a building.

DESIGN INNOVATION

功能性 FUNCTIONALITY

適當地發揮應有用途，並為社區帶來正面的好處。
Design must be appropriate for their intended use and have a positive impact that benefits the community as a whole.

空間規劃 SPATIAL PLANNING

適當地設計滿足個人具體需求，更要符合人性與人體工程原則的空間。
Appropriate design and planning of individual spaces as suited to their specific needs, with an emphasis on anthropometric and ergonomic principles.

創新思維 CREATIVE IDEATION

設計理念必須具有開創性與原創性，並跳出思考框架。
The design ideas must be innovative, cutting-edge, creative, original and informs the notion of out-of-the-box thinking.

未來性 CRITICAL RESPONSE

積極提出策略來審慎地解決當代社會所面臨到的情感、社會與文化等等問題。
Innovative interventions that manifest new and forward-driven ways that look into creating solutions that interact emotionally, emphatically, socially and culturally.

色彩概念（20%）
COLOUR CONCEPT

和諧感 COLOUR HARMONY

您的色彩搭配必須注重平衡與和諧感。
Create a harmonious colour palette and balance between the selected colours through finishes, materials, textures and leitmotifs.

協調性 COLOUR COORDINATION

確保所有的顏色運用可以凸顯您的設計元素，並成為設計與觀眾之間重要的溝通管道。
Ensure that colours work together in highlighting the design elements and communicating responsively with the audience through branding, wayfinding, and typography.

創新度 COLOUR INNOVATION

可以讓您作品脫穎而出的色彩創意。
Implement inspired use of colours through material manipulation and creative tectonics to produce outstanding design features.

前瞻思考（10%）
CRITICAL & FORWARD-THINKING

通過通用設計的手法來探討解決當前問題的積極之道。方案應該是具有批判性的、嶄新的以及正向思考的，並使得全人類受益。
Employing a universal design language to address and investigate current issues with a critical thinking approach. Solution should be critical, fresh and forward-thinking. The ideation of a new concept should embody the impression of questioning norms, challenging traditional archetypes and bettering humankind collectively.
